Do I have to order in packs?
Home Retreat has a "No minimum order" policy. Some of our items are in packs, for example 3-packs, and 6-packs. This is to make shipping and handling charges worthwhile.
Almost all of the items are available in single units. If you are interested in getting an item in one unit please note that shipping charges will remain.

How soon do my products ship?
We usually ship non-perishables UPS Ground within two business days. Please read descriptions carefully for lead times. All orders are carefully packed by hand and inspected to ensure your order is accurate and in excellent condition for safe arrival. Depending on localle and availablility, alternate shipping methods are used. Unusual shaped items will cost more, such as bulky items. Please contact us to check on the status of your item.
How are you able to offer merchandise at a low price?
Home Retreat made a decision before opening to let volume make up the difference. Although we carry first quality, authentic name band items such as Tiffany & Co. and Santa Barbara Ceramic Design, we are not affiliated with the brand retailers. Some stores mark up the merchandise up to 800%, but Home Retreat can offer lower prices because there are no middle men. Also, as our suppliers drop their prices, we hold ours firm for you and still make a small profit. With great hope, Home Retreat will be in business for years to come... and it cannot happen without great guests like you.

Is my personal information shared?
You can be confident that your personal information is safe. Home Retreat works with reputable warehouses that ship directly to your destination, and thus able to offer low prices to you. The warehouses use your information solely for the purpose of getting your purchase to you in a timely manner.
Do you have sales?
Because our prices are already low, we regularly have special prices on closeouts where the item will no longer be offered. You can view these items in our "Z-sales" category on the menu on the left hand side.

Can you ship to a PO Box?
Home Retreat understands that many guests prefer PO Box shipments due to convenience. However, by shipping USPS there is no tracking available on these shipments, only delivery confirmation, which is not necessarily the most reliable method for determining package delivery. Getting a physical address will allow us to ship UPS and have highly accurate tracking. Also, since we know you want to get your orders as quickly as possible, getting a physical address will help you get your order faster.
Should your order be lost or damaged in shipment, it takes significantly longer to file a claim with the Postal Service versus UPS. Resolving any guest service issues is a top priority. Also, freight cost is higher with the Post Office than UPS.
Hopefully, this helps clarify why it is important to provide a physical address. The benefits of UPS shipping over USPS are sure to create a better shopping experience for you.

How do I find an item?
You can search the site a few ways.
One way is to type one word of an item you are looking for in the "search" box on the left of the screen. You also have the option for an advanced search, which filters out what you don't want to see.
The other way is to go to the home page (homeretreat.ecrater.com), and then go to the upper right of the page, and click "Categories" and you will see items we have to offer.
The numbers to the right show the number of items offered in that category.
